It’s a sunny Saturday morning, and I am out running.
The whole neighbourhood is out exercising and walking their dogs whilst the kids are playing on the playground.
Clouds suddenly approach, and it starts to pour down with rain. I see everyone run to their cars, and within seconds the world becomes silent. No one around now, just me, myself and I. Having 6km left on my run, I think to myself, these conditions aren’t perfect, but there is no fucking way I am packing it in.
This scenario happens day in day out with all things we want to do but don’t end up doing.
The world doesn’t wait for anyone, and there is never a perfect time nor perfect conditions. This will only favour those who stick in there, whilst the rest miss out on all life has to offer.
Later is never guaranteed.
Don’t be that person who needs to be bone dry to get out and play.
